Did you know Special Olympics provides year-round training divided into three seasons? Below are the sports by season and typical training duration. Each sport has a 6-8 week training period, followed by some type of sectional or competition opportunity that may be available.
Spring/Summer Season
Aquatics, Athletics, Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Gymnastics, Bowling (Competitive)
Fall Season
Soccer, Volleyball, Bocce, Long Distance Walk/Run, Powerlifting (starts in spring and runs through fall season)
Winter Season
Floor Ball, Bowling (Non-Competition)
