12/8/22 - Attention athletes and volunteers:  It’s now sign-up time for these sports:  

Golf, athletics, basketball, swimming,  tennis and gymnastics

 If you want to participate in more than one sport you will need to sign-up separately for each sport you want to be involved with.  Please sign-up by clicking the link below over the next couple of weeks.

About Us

Our Mission

 

 Lebanon County Special Olympic's mission is to provide year-round training and competition in Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities providing them physical fitness, joy, and a sense of community. We are 100% volunteer run and receives no assistance from federal, state, or local programs. We provide these services for free to athletes and their families.   

Year-Round Sports Training

 

Did you know Special Olympics provides year-round training divided into three seasons?  Below are the sports by season and typical training duration. Each sport has a 6-8 week training period, followed by some type of sectional or competition opportunity that may be available.

Spring/Summer Season 
Aquatics, Athletics, Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Gymnastics, Bowling (Competitive), Softball
Fall Season
Soccer, Volleyball, Bocce, Long Distance Walk/Run, Powerlifting (starts in spring and runs through fall season)

Winter Season
Floor Hockey, Bowling (Non-Competition), Snow Shoe
